Keith Worrall of Violent Strike Lures has released the Violent Strike Monster buzzer. This is the bait Steve Worrall was prototyping this year on Sabaskong that produced several very nice fish, including the fish in the video on the front page of MuskieFIRST.

The Monster Buzz features .051 wire, 7/0 stainless hooks, a 3/4 ounce form, a round living rubber 40 strand skirt and top quality components. The bait is 91/2" long to the skirt back. Made to order using any color or combination of colors you wish, the Monster will be available exclusively through the soon to be introduced TackleFIRST website.

Keith, will it be available in heavier weights? Say like 1 1/2oz?

Yes, up to 2 oz forms. The weight I list is ONLY the form, so the bait will weigh alot more counting the skirts, hooks, and blades. You don't want a buzzer to get too heavy because it will be hard to keep on top. The 3/4 ounce model will run as slow as you wish, or as fast, without turning over on it's side.

I believe the appropriate response is "Got To Have It!"
What are the skirt color options?
What would the financial investment involved in obtaining this "fyke net of the spinnerbait world" be?

jlong,

Yes it does! That is what Keith originally designed this one for, the reeds on the Goon and those incredibly annoying 'dollar pads'. It will go near anywhere as long as you start it as it hits the water. Hooks up  well, too. I think I am going to have him build one for me with 6/0 hooks though, just to ease the hookset a bit.

Hi,
I was just wondering about the blades. I am sure the lure was tested very thoroughly and was curious to know what the most effective blade patterns where? If one small blade up front worked better than two, etc? Are you going to be offering these with different balde options as well?
thanks
Kyle
p.s. I tried to check the violentstrike.com site and found it to be temp. disabled, will it be back in action soon?

Nice looking buzzbait!
The best components, big silhouette, different blades...
I really think about it for big pike also.

How much longer are we gonna have to wait to get our mits on these morsels???????????

The fish won't be able to hide from me in the reeds, dollar pads, or Milfoil in 2004!

May we place our orders here for the ones to be brought to the outing, and what is the cost going to be?
