I just got the OK for a new locator for the front of the boat. Would a Legend 2000 be a better choice then a Vexilar FL-18? I have a Zercom 3000 in the back of the boat. Which would you choose between these two?

Mark,
Personally , I use the bow locator to stay on course glancing at it regularly. Not a lot of interpretation. Then again, If one has been ice fishing all winter w/ the Vexilar, may not need much interp..That fl-18 could do double duty. From the bow, I don't need to know if fish are there, just depth and the lay of the land.Get ahold of me if you'd like to partake in some of our outings. More muskie guys in CR than I thought.Good Luck. Steve [email protected]
