We are cursed in NC Wisconsin. Snow, then in a couple more days maybe more snow. I checked a couple of area lakes and with normal Spring temps they are a week or so to open, but add 6 to up to over a foot of snow and not so much.

Wow. We were hovering just below 80 yesterday. Water temps went from 52* last weekend to 62* yesterday. It'll slow down a bit this week with nighttime temps in the 30's. Have fun with the snow.

Well, at least enough snow melted past few days that I now have room to push it with the plow tomorrow.

It was 90 in my backyard on Thursday, and now it's 30 degrees and looks like a blizzard outside. Thankfully, it's not going to pile up like next door in Wisconsin.

We got up into the 80's yesterday. Lawn desperately needs mowing, + dandelions everywhere. Put the snowblower away. Forecast calls for heavy snow and low 30's tomorrow with a pretty good NW wind. I was complaining about it and vowing to not go outside at all tomorrow when my wife reminded me I've gone fishing in worse weather. On purpose...

Our lawn is now white with sleet. The wind is howling, so the weatherman had it right looks like. Shovel time tomorrow. The Pelican river is almost at our door, so I hope the snow will slow the river rise a bit, it's certainly better than rain. So far the basement is dry, had it professionally remediated last year and it appears to be perfect. At least there is that.

Steve, the good news is the wind last night really opened up a lot of water here on Third Lake. Even have a loon out there today.
Not sure what is going on, if the dam is closed or an ice jam but lake is highest I Have seen in 20 years.

6" of snow here yesterday after a beautiful week. We lost most of the snow at that time. Now another 5" forecasted for Thursday. We're doomed.

Went in the high 70s and a couple 80s already cold day today in 50s. Already had to mow the grass twice. Trout opener was beginning of month so I got a couple nice days in fishing for them golden rainbows.

We got lucky this morning with just rain, just now turning to snow. Looking like we could get 4"-8" overnight. Just ordered more propane so I don't run out. Looks like we'll have ice on the lakes for a couple more weeks.

Based on the temps we will be making ice for the next 5 days!

It was cloudy with a little rain most of the day. Turned to snow about 4 pm and we have 5" now at 9:30. I have no clue how much more we will get. This is in International Falls Mn.

Ending up getting about 8" here in Chisholm. That'll take the wind out of your sails.

Looks like the Pelican River is falling today as the water around my house is receding, with little precip over the next week. Dodged a bullet for sure. 40s and 50s until May.

Moen chain has dropped a couple inches since Monday, most of the ice blew out of the lake I am on. But water is still really high. Neighbor talked about putting his dock in next weekend but if it doesn't drop the water will be over my waders near the end of his dock. Think it is going to take longer than a week for it to get close to normal spring levels.

Woke up to 2" on the ground this morning. It never ends. All-time record snowfall in Rhinelander this year, at least the lakes won't be low.

1" 1/2 snow today and coming down lightly. My mom would like to use the new patio furniture (it's cold, snowing, or rainy) and just wait then it will get too hot. If you don't like the weather wait 5 minutes. And my car is so dirty.
