Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota | Does anyone know where I can find bigger French blades to build bucktails out of? I rebuilt a mepps magnum musky killer so it has a better hook, which they say has a #7 blade. The mepps #7 is significantly bigger than the #8 French blades I’ve gotten from other places. I really like how French blades run, but the #8’s I find aren’t really big enough for anything I would throw. |

Location: E. Tenn | I pulled a Magnum musky killer out of the box, and the blade is 2-1/2" long, 1-1/8" wide.. That matches Worth's #8. Dick Moore has them in his catalog. Give him a call, he'll be happy to answer any questions.. I haven't been able to find anything bigger.

| Thorne Bros may have them. It was a while back so I honestly can't remember if they were French or fluted indianas that I picked up. |
