Posts: 646 Location: Duluth | Todd, have GL strain been considered. Great work by MI, just curious what GL strain would do in a lake like Geneva compared to Leechers

Posts: 556 Location: WI | Bit off topic but what’s going on over at delavan? I see they threw a thousand fingerlings in there last month for carp mitigation. Is that a one time thing or do they have a long term stocking plan for that lake again?

I can only assume the pike are eating them before they get decent sized. The lake association is now stocking them. The state used to. If Muskies could get established it would be a great lake to fish for them. The lake has twice.been killed off and restocked because of carp. Edited by ToddM 10/27/2022 11:34 PM
