Location: oswego, il | I love Tony and Gregg and the things they do for our sport. I can't imagine with all the irons they have in the fire they can balance it all but they do. I hope that Musky Hunter and their vision for it gets back on track very soon. The things they do are well worth our support not to mention an insane bargain.

Location: Ludington, MI | Obviously some people think they've seen some pretty irrefutable darn-ing evidence on the guy. What I've seen raises some questions, but I don't see where anyone took anything to the state of Tennessee. If being feminine-hygiene-product-ish and promoting yourself (and your sponsors) was a crime, 95 percent of fishing-related YouTubers would be jailed. I personally listen to the pod because, everything else aside, they do raise some interesting points and pass along valid tips. Having said that, I don't know any behind-the-scenes on the MH deal, but it seems to me those guys dug a hole with a lot of their base regardless of his involvement and the app misadventure.

The 'hole' with the base was going digital. There you have it.
YouTubers? there are a very few I can stand to watch, the rest not so much. Weird and rude seem to sell a lot these days. |

If I had to take a guess, the rift probably lies in the work that Paul did to get the MH app up and running, and now he's probably wanting to get some compensation.
Pretty sad state of affairs of what Musky Hunter Magazine has become, I hope they can figure something out this winter as I've enjoyed the publication over the years. |

| That’s too bad. I have noticed a decline in the podcast even. Used to be very informative and interesting and had in good guest. It was a learning podcast. Now it is more of a drunken babble. Still listen to it. But the decline I can see as maybe a spin out. Hopefully we don’t lose any of the podcast or magazines or apps. All great to have. |

I couldn’t agree more. The magazine format change after Jim sold it was anathema to what made it a success in the first place. One page articles filled with limited information, bait maker profiles, gratuitous self-promotion, and an over reliance on content creators you never heard of.
It all felt rather bush league by comparison. It went from being the greatest authority on the subject to becoming like a throwaway designed for people with an attention span too short for USA Today or Midwest Outdoors.
Please note, I still kept up to my subscription because I have been a subscriber since 1994, however, it’s undeniable that the new magazine was pretty pathetic by historical comparisons.
