I've caught all a large fish on floating crankbaits. I spend a lot of time fishing out a way from structure with countdown lures (Bucher, Cisco Kid and my favorite River run 2 speed countdown. I've tried a lot with Bulldawg and Medussa too no luck. Since my last trip I have bought a lot of tubes. I have not spent any time fishing the bottom

I'm more of a pike guy but have had lots of fish on Rap Countdowns in late fall, I think it gets to where the fish are and has good action (tight wobble). Probably a good bet for muskies on oligotrophic lakes.
