Posts: 753 | FWIW... I have had Wave Pro's in my last two boats. As much as I like them I would not recommend buying them. Twice I have had them break at the top of the shock. The last time it sent my passenger backwards in the boat and it could have been a lot worse. Without cutting open a vein lets just say there custom service was less than stellar in each occurrence. Posts: 32889 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | The Smooth Move Air is cool, and adjusts on the fly with the touch of a switch. I have one Air and the other is the Ultra. Great people to work with.

Posts: 328 | Any comments or thoughts on the feel and performance differences between the ‘air’ and the ‘ultra’ versions? I would prefer to avoid another plug in/electrical attachment but…???

Posts: 32889 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | I really like the Air because of its infinite on-the-fly adjustment. I don't see a huge difference in ride.

Posts: 560 Location: deephaven mn | wow Mojo. Have been recommending WAVE PRO's for five years. Love the small tube versses the big bag of the competitor. Wave Pro is built off a snowmobile shock disigned to absorb jumping snowmobiles. I love mine. I know you are heavier then me but they should not break.

Posts: 753 | I was a huge fan too. I sold over a dozen pair based off people riding in my boat. At 240 LBS I cant believe I'm the biggest guy to use them. The most recent break was on my passenger seat which gets used about 5% of the time my boat is on the water which makes it more concerning than anything. When Lee from Wave Pro dropped "You know things break" on me and was more concerned with me returning the broken shock than replacing it they entered the " You will never get $$ from me again" zone....
