Trying a new lake this mid September. So I chose Turtle Flowage. I found a place to stay in the middle of the lake area just south of Trude Lake. If anyone can give me some points on some areas of the lake to focus on that would be much appreciated. I understand it’s a big body of water. Baits and colors a plus. Thanks

Never been there but being on my bucket list I know a few things, dark water, lots of stumps, very few weeds, lots of Walleye. A cousin once told me of a friend of his fished it and very afternoon a thunder storm would come up and he would catch Muskies on orange surface baits.
