Location: Brighton CO. | My sister and brother in law used to live in Idaho and in Idaho you are not allowed to take sturgeon out of the water. (they live in the Snake River in Idaho) |

| Wanna have some fun...go ride one of those jet boats when they run the rapids on the Snake River. Yes, illegal to remove any size Sturgeon from the water. Usually the angler hops out of the boat and drags the fish towards the shoreline until it can be measured and photo'd. |

| When people say there are only "muskies" and all other fish are bait, they might want to watch that video |

And to them I say, "Um, alligator gar." https://flic.kr/p/28b46 Sturgeon get awesomely huge, but don't have teeth. And that is the most awesome one I've seen.

| Yes, one of those phrases that so endear musky fishermen to non-musky fishermen. |

Location: Minneapolis | In reply to fishing the Snake River: I second this. Watching a 7' sturgeon launch straight out of the water is a hoot. We had to run one down with the jet boat to keep from getting spooled.
