Hey all, newbie here. Been fishing for muskie in the DE area, mainly where muskies have washed down from Marsh Creek. Its a shallow river, with some deep holes and is generally clear. I haven't had any hits on lures, only live bait. Would a Manta fit my needs? Just a solid overall lure that can run shallow, and wont get stuck?

Mantas work but get the shallow version for your application. Everyone has their fave, Manta is one of mine.

There are tons of good shallow glides out there. Narcans, beauzookas, mark king, the warlock, the list goes on and on... but my favorite is the riversnack 5" from muskyroller (that´s his user on here.) love that bait and actually thinking I may have to buy a few more!

If you have a chance to buy one get it. If you are new to gliders it's very easy to work.

I agree, Mantas and Hell Hounds are very user friendly.

The regular size Manta has put lots of muskies in my boat. I wish they would make a super shallow version of the hang 10.

Anything I need to tweak on that lure? Any suggested ways to work it?

Nearly twenty years ago, the first time out with a manta, third cast had a nice muskie t-bone the bait at boat side. Lost that fish on a jump. The manta has been my favorite glider ever since. Kdawg

At times, you may find the back hook hangs up on the back plate. T-ing the hook helps.
You may find the Hellhound previously suggested runs a bit deeper. Don't let that stop you, tho. m
