| Hey folks! Quick question- I've had good luck "propwash" trolling. I'm not sure if I'd call it actual propwash trolling or just shortline trolling. Basically short lines, and next to the wash but not literally in the main jet of the bubbles.
Has anyone had any luck actually trolling IN the wash? Like the bait darting in and out of the main bubble trail by the outboard? I've tried it but never had any luck. |

| Yes, have caught a couple small ones doing that. Both times I ha shortened line to maybe 6 feet because I was in a river and going over weeds that I wanted to avoid. |

Location: Walker, MN | We've caught them right in the propwash in open water, and over shallow structure. If we have four lines out, one is in the propwash. I feel like the boat is spooking baitfish, which get's a muskies attention, and then there is just one dumb one sitting there kicking away. |

| Thanks for the tips folks! Huh, looks like I'll have to give it a shot again this year. Never had much confidence when the bait was literally in the wash. But benefit is that it allows me to run 3 rods my one side (literally in the wash, shortlined boat road, board rod) versus just 2 rods (shortline/wash rod, board rod). |
