I plan on taking a trip to North Carolina in March. I was wondering if this state has a musky population, and what the season is. Can anyone recommend a guide?

I dunno about where in NC you will be going, but I do know that Fontana Lake has a good muskie population. Check for guides at the marina near the dam, or try the link for the marina at www.fontanavillage.com. Beautiful lake on the backside of the Smoky Mt. National Park. Bring your smallmouth gear, too! If you want to PM me (see 'inbox', above) I can give you the name and number of a guide we used a few years ago. good luck, m
