I would like to try fishing Green Bay but have never been there before. My plan would be to put in at the Metro boat launch and head up the West shore generally towards the Suamico area. (I see that there is a launch at Suamico but it looks like there is not too much parking there). Any advice for me, especially about where to fish? I plan to look for weed beds and fish the outer edges if possible. By boat is only about 19' so I plan to pick a day with a nice forecast and will stay close to shore.

Lots of water. Hire a guide for the first trip or two or three. Get some confidence in the water, lures and spots. It'll save you big time in the long run.
