| Muskie are being caught in open water 40’ over schools of Cisco at least on the west end. I am not sure if Steve is referring to the east end of the lake but the west end of the lake as far as walleye has been the Dead Sea every person I spoke with is getting the big zero. When a single walleye and a few crappie make the bragging report I say it’s not hot as some would say. Nothing above 30 feet deep everything is down after all the rain and wind up here. We had frost a few nights ago. Water temp went from 70 to 65 and back up to 70 in a week. When I look at the cabbage it doesn’t have that nice green tint to it looks like my indiana grass mid august. I will be returning for my second trip up here the 4th of July week and can update more if need be. If you get onto a pattern feel free to PM me. Or if you would like more specifics just let me know
Take care
Daniel
