Not really "bargains", but I usually buy a couple baits each year at the expo. Thorne Bros. gave a 7% discount on map chips(which are never on sale). Got a Minnesota one, and a zero line to use with the new 'Birds. Team Rhino had fee shipping, and also the better price I've seen on a Frankesuik, so I picked up one of those. And I couldn't pass up the new splotchy walleye pattern on the Swimmin' Dawgs, so I got a mag shallow, and a mag regular. There, I've done my share of stimulating the economy. From here on out, it's just gas for the truck and the boat.

The way Gas prices are rising since the first of the year, you might have to sell some of those Lures just to pay for the fuel for your truck and boat... Diesel is up about 55-60 cents a gal. Sheeesh !

True that. I'll probably donate more lures than I bought though. Just have to bite the bullet on the gas. Still cheaper than many other times in the past, and it didn't stop me from road tripping then. Plus, I've got six muskie lakes within 15 minutes of my house.

I went to Thorne brick & mortar. Unfortunately, they didn’t have a high speed Tranx 500 which is what I had my sights set on. But I did get a few baits to try out this season.

Nothing screamed out "Buy my stuff", but thought another Revo Toro Beast would be nice to have... Found one on eBay for a great price, and pulled the trigger.. (can I even say that anymore??)

I tried to buy a Tranx 400hg at Thorne’s, but they said they don’t expect a shipment until mid to late June. All sold out.
