Location: Syracuse, Indiana | As of last Saturday, the Dance Hall ramp was open, and about 50% of the lake was open. I could not get to James Lake, or the mouth of Grassy Creek. Fished about 3 hours without success. Most of the fish I marked were 20+' deep. |

Location: Syracuse, Indiana | Out for about 2 hours yesterday. Thin ice covered roughly 80% of the lake. 50 degrees outside today, but cold weather predicted for the weekend. Marked fish around bait fish on drops. Had 2 small fish follow minnow baits. Nothing in the boat. |
