What’s the best way to get the lift in and out of the lake? Do any of you use a lever to take the wheels off? I wish I could find a picture that I saw earlier.

I use a dock/lift jack. Works great. Up to 4 feet of lift. Purpose built by a machine shop in MN. Once wheels are on, use my winch on the utv to haul out. In spring my hillside is so steep I release the Rachet straps and chase down the hill in my waders, pushing into place before wheels fill up. My family says it is fun to watch this old man chase down the lift.
