Posts: 108 Location: ITALY | hi guys, some time ago a friend of mine wrote a book on pike that I collaborated on ... in Italy it had a good sales success and he therefore decided to translate it into English, tell me if you are interested and I will tell you how to do it to get it http://www.il-luccio-e-le-acque.it/158074702 Edited by Cicciospin 12/21/2020 4:51 PM

Posts: 1783 | So $49.00 U.S. is that like 9 billion Euro? Just kidding. Good luck with the book. Always good to see any information on Pike fishing. Here in the states it's like the forgotten fish behind Walleye, Crappie & Muskie.

Here in the states it's like the forgotten fish behind Walleye, Crappie & Muskie. At today's exchange rate $49 U.S. dollars would be 40.17 Euros. The dollar has been pretty much in steady decline against the Euro in 2020. I know you were kidding about it but post made curious to see where it was at. Little surprised to see how much the dollar has declined.

Here in the states it's like the forgotten fish behind Walleye, Crappie & Muskie. true, in the US the pike is not very popular .. you have the musky !!! lucky you!!! the book talks about biology, weather, the moon, etc. as well as fishing ... there are also interesting ideas to use with musky ![]() Edited by Cicciospin 12/22/2020 12:17 PM

Posts: 343 | Pike are a very good fish, it is just that muskies get bigger, are usually harder to catch, and muskies are very visible due to their habit of following, often large ones will be very shallow, and their like of topwater lures. Topwater pike are a blast to catch, but less likely to be available shallow than muskies (except smaller hammerhandles).

Posts: 108 Location: ITALY | I fish in the great lakes of northern Italy and unfortunately for me I don't have many opportunities to catch big topwater pike ... often the giants of the species I take them by trolling or casting in open water when they suspend

Posts: 108 Location: ITALY | hi guys the books are ready! my friend, the author of the book, told me that there is a typo in the index due to the English translation. For this reason, for the first edition the book will be sold at a lower price, instead of the 49 $ the price will be 40 $ ... Unfortunately the mistake was from whoever printed ![]()
