I'm looking at the Minn Kota DeckHand 35; however saw a DeckHand 40 that only Thorne Bros. seems to offer. It looks like a better model, but it's not even listed on the Minn Kota website.

Has anyone else seen this model or have it?

Are they pretty easy to install, or would I be better off having a marina do it?

Yes it's new this year and it's out now. It runs around $269. Easy to install, comes with longer anchor rope. I've been waiting for it as like you I couldn't find it so I emailed Minn Kota. Good luck. Harbour Towne Ken
