| Im so sick of seeing that damm poodle on the back of muskyhunter, essox angler, and muskie how about something new |
|
| |
|
| Well, we did switch to the firetiger colored sweater...

|
| For some reason I smile everytime I see the poodle ad. And I did notice the change to firetiger....very appropriate. I think it's funny as heck...probably wouldn't do to well in California though...

| Why not? Do the poodles contain lead?[] [] [;)] |

| Actually, Rob, mine do. I prefer the weighted to the unweighted! heh-heh.

| Actually the California regulations would NEVER allow the Poodle thing, it's emissions are way too high...[] |

| As far as an effective bait, a cat would work far better, and the tail would be an excellent trailer! Although a poodle is the dog's version of a cat, the cat would be available in many more colors!
My wife's cat just disappeared for some strange reason! |

|
| Maybe the next change could be towards using a circle hook to attach the poodle. They seem to be all the rage now![;)]

| why didn't you use a black golden retriever? I saw one on the shore while I was fishing, damn that tail looked just like a kingsize bucktailspinner! Has anyone tried that, nevermind the cat's tail, that's rubbish. This is the real thing!![] [] |

|
| Circle hook would probably be a lot less messier too![:praise:] |

| Quite frankly you guys are way of base. Your looking for energy....liveliness. Nothing can beat a good Jack Russell terrier painted in skunk black with a white stripe. They are nonstop action....activates both sight aggression in musky but dramatically stimulates the lateral line system. I wouldn't recommend highspeed trolling, though, they tend to start making big circles above 2.5mph....while this may intice King salmon I don't think musky find it a natural movement.
Here's another big producer. When your casting, working your favorite whatever giant, grossly expensive musky lure keep a rigged up terrier right next to you on your sucker rig. I've found after even a mildly aggressive follow, or missed strike, if you follow up immediately with a Jack Russell on the surface the action is immediate and almost infalliable. Something about a skunk pattern terrier big musky just can't get enough of.
I would let you on the chihuahua secrets but I have to keep something for myself...[:praise:]

| Actually, on the new musky hunter they got a different ad w/ Joe Bucher. |
