I got two today, breaking a long skunk streak. This one has an odd gill area. m

Caught my PB yesterday, right at the boat. Unfortunately, she got away as I was trying to take her out for a pic...

Net ripped? Ouch

Nah as I was reaching for the gillplate, she swung her tail just enough to get her head to lean on the rim of the net, Only thing holding the net is the pressure Im applying with my leg, net tilted and she was gone... Never been so happy and heart broken at the same time before...

Nice pic in any event.

Might want to consider Yak attack rotogrips for your net (if they fit your net handle), one for each rail.

Thanks!

I'll definitely need those... I hadnt had any problems before but that fish made it obvious that I need to do something about this, also first time I felt like my net was too small. Back to the drawing board. thanks again for the advice.

Going to have to wait a bit, I am guessing that Steve is up in a tree somewhere in northern WI.

Erico wins by double random draw and a coin toss for the two pages.

Second draw was Dewman, same process.

Congrats, guys!

Thanks, Steve. Glad you tagged out. I ate plenty of tag soup over the years.
