| Hey all, I live in Colorado and found some water where I’ve had success twitching Tiger Muskies. Looking for some alternative lures from what I’m using. Mostly 6-7” currently, and like this size, and I’d actually like to go a little larger. Looking for lures with bills, not dive/rise or glide. Any recommendations from Minnesota/Wisconsin waters? Appreciate any information. |

| I love the Crane 208s. I take off the three books and upgrade to two larger hooks leaving the middle hanger empty. The added weight of larger hooks will give them a little more hang time. Good luck!!! |

Location: SE, WI. | Slammer 7” W/ Square Lip. Also,8” & 10”. Good Hang Time. You can also add Suspending Strips or Wrap lead wire around shaft of hooks if you need more Hang Time! JD |

| As mentioned the Triple D, maybe a Suspending Depth Raider. ( slow rise ) Nothing much else out there that suspends without modification. |

Location: oswego, il | I have never twitched a tiger musky before. To answer your crankbait question, you can get shallow raiders and shallow invaders to hang pretty good with heavier hooks on them. You can also try weight inserts. The Birmingham brothers have a good setup for a suspending crane bait. If you can find a savage gear 4-play slow float you will like that and upsize the hook one size it will suspend. |

Location: Brighton CO. | I also live in Colorado i no longer have a boat so it's shore fishing or bust. For suspending lures Double or Triple D's or X Rap or Bucher shallow raider in prism they hang better then org.
in my case fishing from shore have to be real careful with suspending lures. (they don't back out of snags) |

| as mentioned, upsizing hooks on shallow raiders, although ive had the best luck with that on the 5" model. plumbers lead tape on the 7" model works better than bigger hooks as the hooks are plenty big already.
storm flatsticks hang pretty well if you want something bigger than the 7" shallow raider with a bit of plumbers tape. |

| The only problem with suspending baits is if you pause them too long you will find you get a fair share of deep hooked fish. Because the bait sits there they can pinpoint target it and really unload on it when they open their mouth. |

| DDD's for sure...dozen's and dozens of 48"+ fish for me on this bait, a "goto" in my arsenal for sure... unfortunately i throw it less every year as I have the best success with violent rips and pretty long pauses .my shoulder just hates the violent rips these days!  |

Location: South Central PA | Not to step on peoples toes, but killing the action isn't always a bad thing. I'm from PA and we fish most of the winter. A subdued action sometimes catches more in colder water. |
