Planning on fishing Lake Harriet on Sunday. At this point I am not 100 percent sure I will go there. I have room in the boat for 1. Would be fishing solo if I go. My one muskie buddy will be on Vermilion and my other buddy refuses to fish a Minneapolis lake. I have an idea how I want to fish it but never fished it before. If anyone is interested in getting out feel free to message me. Some nice muskies have fallen victim to my net this year.

Right now the moored sailboats that rent summer bouys out there are taking their boats out. Mostly on weekends. Most of these people are incredibly, comically, and frustratingly slow. So you may wait a while to launch.
Remember too that you have to be off the water by dusk they are going to start chainng the boat landing from dusk til dawn.
Park in the neighborhood and walk or make sure you put plenty of time on the meter in the parking lot the park police love to ticket.
Some hassles but no power boats driving you crazy.
