Location: Racine, Wi | Alright reel gurus, I’m trying to fix a reel for a buddy. The reel wasn’t turning when he tried to turn the handle. Anywho, anyone have an idea how to get this off without breaking the gear and post that holds it? |

Location: Mt. Zion, IL | freeze the whole thing in dry ice and then heat the gear. should come right off. do the same with the shaft. be hot on the torch so it heats quickly, but doesn't melt. you want about a 75 degree temp difference. it should pop right off. |
