Happy new owner of a Lund and have had it for a just few weeks now. I took it up north for a 3 day fishing trip and by the 3rd day I noticed whenever I started the motor the automatic bilge turns on and won't shut off until I manually move the float switch to on then off. Incredibly annoying, but I'm just glad I can reach the bilge somewhat easily otherwise I'd have to disconnect the battery.

When I got home, I put a charger on the starting battery and took it out again, no issue. My thought was a low battery was causing a voltage drop that was triggering the bilge for some reason? I had done a fair share of trolling and motoring around, and it's not like my depthfinder's were shutting off when I started the motor (had that on my old boat before I installed heavier gauge wire) so I'm not sure why the starting battery would be low, measured 12.5V before I put it on charger.

Anybody else have a similar experience or any idea what would be going on?

I had that on my 2011 explorer and had to remove the inline fuse. Mine ran when it was out of the water. I had at the dealer and they replaced the pump. Sorry not much help
