I am sure glad I took the day off.

Hit one of the local lakes. Wasn't in any hurry to get there and had a minor wiring problem to fix. Ended up on the water around 11:00 a.m. I was only able to find one good sucker, the rest in the tank looked like death warmed over. Took my one 12" sucker to the lake and gave him swimming lessons. After about 45 mins, at high noon no less, had the one and only taker for the day. A very fat 44 1/2" CnR'd (No P, no camera). Fished Undertakers, Jigs, Spinnerbaits and Dawgs the rest of the day with no luck. Wind finally pissed me off enough that I left around 3.

Not only the last fish of the year, on the last day I can fish for the year, but also my biggest to date.

All in all a great year for me. Boated 10 over 30" with 4 of those over 40". Caught my first jig fish, caught my first Canada fish and had one helluva year with a lot of good friends. Thanks to all of you. (Worrall, Hintz, Jackley, Van Lieshout, Sluggo, Stellflue, Smith and anyone else I may have forgotten)

I just happened to get into a discussion about meeting people on this site. It still amazes me that I have met as many great people as I have here. Thanks again Mr. Worrall (Zach too) for putting together such a great place for us to meet.

Here's looking forward to next year.....

Scott

I lost a low 40's at boatside trolling the river today, I was by myself and couldn't pull the trigger on the net quick enough. I put my boat away this afternoon.

Theedz! Great job! Are you sure it's gotta be your last? Any way you can hook up with Jackley and me the last weekend?

Yea it's been a great year Scott, best of all was friendship that formed with you, Sluggo, and myself. Ditto MuskieFIRST being a great place to make new friends.

Nice way to finish up your season, with confidence and your largest to date fish...

I'm already pumped for opening day 2004...:)
