Location: Bagley,MN 56621 | Well I pounded shallow and got diddly.
Was out for 7 hours today, got a dink Tiger, ok pike and ONE follow from an upper 30's (mayyybe 40")fish.
I found the fish on steep shorelines in 10'-12'.
One other boat was out, got a pike.
A third boat went out from 3-5, nadda.
pretty slow day with only one ski follow, water was 37-38 and the ice just left 2 mornings ago.

I found same thing on Wissota in past few weeks. We could catch short fish up shallow but by looking at sonar and results of catching fish it seemed the larger fish went to bed for the winter. Trolled about 2 hours last weekend with Theedz and and I had one hell of a time even marking fish.
Sat. should rock with the storms that are predicted. By the way I saw on TV 13's weather tonite that the storm on Sunday could dump 8-12 inches of snow on Rice Lake and surrounding areas... Be careful wherever you go...
Hey I'm coming to Barron tomorrow morning early (Fri) if you want to borrow that bluegill colored DDD I have call me at home after 7:15, I"ll be off the computer by them, I could drop it by the store around 9:00 or so.
