Just out of curiosity how many have a pair of binocs in the boat. Could have really used them in FL as I was trying to figure out what most of the flats guys were throwing. As a result I bought an old pair of Steiner Mariniers off Ebay and put them in the boat as I didnt want to much up a decent set. Have fun

i do. 10x42 but not to see baits, mostly to see if someone is on a spot in the distance that i'm thinking about going to instead of running halfway there and then having to go somewhere else. dark colored boats blend into shoreline really well from a long distance.

Haven't used them very many times over the years, but I've carried a functional old pair in my boats for decades. When you do want them, they are sure nice to have.

Keep a cheap pair in the boat. Don't get used often, but nice to have. Fishing a cabbage bed and noticed a large bird in the very top of tall pine. It was a great blue heron perched on the very top of the tree. That was a sight I would have missed without them.

yuup always good to have a set in the boat. especially when navigating waters that you don't know, or as stated to scope a spot out before heading to it.

I don't. But the last couple years on LOTW I wish I did. Getting more and more common to drive a mile or two to a spot just to find a boat on it. Binocs could at least let me know it was "in use" a little sooner.

Carry a pair of compact Nikon's but I hardly use them. Last time I used them was to get a close up view of a bear walking along the shore.

We have 2 pair in the boat.We use them to check distant spots before we make an unnecessary run or check out occasional wild life in the trees and on shore. They were great for the kids when they got board trolling.

Aye, handy for seein' distant birds/bait fish activity at times or for seein' identifying features on boats with operators that shouldn't be at the helm.
