Tomorrow, Saturday, I'm hitting it for maybe the last time. I'll let the
weather decide that I guess. How many Wisconsin guys are still pluggin
away? I'll be soaking some suckers and letting the dawgs out. Good fishin
this weekend.

I will be hitting Webster this weekend. I am not even thinking about ice up yet!!!

Bring on the muskies!

Mille lacs with Cady and maybe the Midge, although if it's under 50 degrees outside I hear it hard to get him off the couch and out of his warm bunny slippers.

Joel (tuffy1), watch out for that Kly character, he likes to sneak up on ya...scary!!

This is the last weekend of the season here in the Kawarthas. Temperatures will be a low of -8 deg.C to a high of 3 deg.C. Water temps last weekend were around 5.1 deg.C. I'll be out there trying to keep warm and trolling for a few more fish. I may have to break through some ice to reach open water, but that's just part of late season muskie fishing.

My son and I will be searching for some soft water opportunities. Hopefully this warmer, windy weather open a few possibilities.

I still have a month left before my season closes, I have to guide 15 and maybe up to 20 days and then I'll try and get me a fifty pounder or two.

I'm planning on it - assuming I didn't develop any motor problems. Would like to head north to a lake with cisco, but have to stick closer to home.

I was out this afternoon/evening. One swipe at a slow bucktail by a small muskie is all I have to show, but it was a nice day and the ice was back off the lake.

It has been a good week so far in Oneida county. Boated a FAT 47 on tuesday and today was little guy day with a 35 and a 32, and they say the fish move slow in cold water, you wouldn't believe how fast that big girl ate a DDD!!!!! Best of luck to all!!

Here's a couple of photos of deer from last w/e (Nov 8) when it was a little chilly. The ice was enough to stand on, but seeing open water beyond the ice is all my friends needed to keep going. Not sure now much damage the boat took.

Boy that looks just about like last year eh Greg? The only difference is that there was also SNOW on the ice last year. I believe that they are very close to the spot where we caught a fat one as well. As a matter of fact they are very close to that same spot. We were out on Friday but no takers. Had to go through the ice at the landing as well. I was by there today and there is no ice at the landing at all. Bone lake is open as well.

Fished a Land O Lakes body of water Saturday afternoon. Wide open with a surface temp of 41.5ยบ! Nothing brewing for Musky, but we landed 15 walleyes between 3 of us in the lat hour of light.

With rain forecasted and somewhat mild to seasonal temps, there may be a few more lakes opening up or staying open for maybe 1 more weekend of fishing.
