It seems that all the lakes or most of them are almost frozen over up north? Does anyone plan on ice fishing for skis till the close of season?

Not me. I will be totally absorbed with rifle season from the 22nd through the end of Black Powder, and Muskie will be closed then. Priorities, oh so many priorities...;)

Alot of lakes are open and are opening up again with the wind, rain and some warmer temps....I have 1 more weekend of Soft Water before worrying about Hard water fishing.

As soon as we get safe hard stuff...I'm on Walleyes big time

I'm with sworral on this one..been grousin' and getting the hunting legs ready! The rubs I found today were down right the scariest ,largest most
aggressive looking rubs I've ever seen. Hard to set up on where he's rubbing but I might check in on him if our 60 doesn't produce on opener.
They made elk rubs look meagor...8 days and counting...Got to love the Public monsters when you find their hangouts!
