I'm trying to find the perfect fishing gloves....warm, waterproof, tight fitting enough to actually be able to do things. Any suggestions?

Most gloves are impossible to fish with because they are so big. Here is a trick that I do. Put a pair of Jersey gloves on first and then go buy a pair of yellow dish washing gloves and put over them. Not only is this a cheap way out but it's water proof and fits tight.

baseball batting gloves work pretty good.

You have to buy 3 pairs, but they work pretty good.

SealSkinz fleece lined gloves are the best I have tried.

I bought the Sealskins from Cabela's I think and don't care for them. They are not hook friendly and get the threads hung up on the hooks too easily and pull the threads out, they also didn't last more than one season while ice fishing. I bought the Ironclad Cold Condition gloves and like them much better, easier to pull on and off, close fit and good handling, and the hooks don't get into them. Although they're not perfect either. Both types are almost useless once wet and the wind hits them. I'm still in search of the perfect glove but the Ironclad's are pretty good.

Used these guys for the first time this year, was very happy with them. Don't ask me how, but even with the holes to stick your thumb through for being able to do little things with your fingers (with dexterity), my hands were warm. I am talking about the ones on the lower left of the page here....

Another vote for Glacier Gloves. They are the best that I have found when I absolutely have to wear gloves. I hate stupid hands that don't do what I want them to do.

I use the Glacier gloves.  They are tight fitting and very warm and do not absorb water.  I usually use the left hand only which is the hand I use to palm the reel.  Works great.  I slpi on the other hand when I need to.

I use the glacier gloves too. I got mine at galyans.

Sealskins are nice untill you stick a hook in one. Then water will get in.

Glacier gloves me too!!! Nothing is gonna be like having your hands over a warm fire, but these things seem to do as good a job as possible.

Take a look at these Orvis neoprene gloves. I haven't tried them, but have seen them in Orvis shops. They're incredibly thin.
