What will this weekends full moon do to the deer movement? Does Joe Bucher have a chart for them? The rut should be in full swing here in SE Michigan.

It will make them point their heads toward the moon and howl.

The younger deer will probably commit crimes and the female deer will probably get pregnet.

Just a guess.

lobi, the deer will go nuts for the next week or more in our area. Rut is in full swing now and the bucks are moving all day. If your after a buck, stay in your stand all day.
The full moon in November is usually the best time to hunt all day.
I watched two small buck fight under my tree last night with 7 doe in the field. Where were the big boys???? I don't know but i will be out after work tonight to see if any show up.

It's been my experience that during the full moon the deer will be moving EARLY. And in the evening it will be late. But, factor in the rut and there should be some movement off and on all day, 10am seems to be the charm in PA for me during this time. As stated earlier, all day during the rut is the way to go.

It has been my experience that if the skies are clear at night, your early morning hunt will be tough because of you being very visible and easily heard. During the full moon, you will find me listening to the weather radio at 3 AM and picking a stand upwind of a major bedding area or areas and putting out some scent and sitting all day. Full Rut gel on one side and behind me, Wall Hanger Dominant Buck gel on the other. The journal that I keep shows that I see more good bucks mid-day than I do in the morning or evening during full moon periods.
I'll often switch stand positions once during the day if I haven't seen anything by noonish. But I make sure and "stalk" my way to the different stand. Sometimes I'll lay a scent trail when I move.
Stay in the woods all day. Take something to drink. PowerBars to eat. Plastic bags to pee in. Hand and body warmers, and stay on your toes!
Full moon means all day activity if the rut is kicking in and especially if you can get one of those overcast, quiet days. The bucks will constantly be running scrape lines and checking bedding areas.
If you only got to breed during a couple weeks of the year, you'd be on patrol all day too, wouldn't you?

Keith sat on a scrape and scent line this evening and had 6 does and one REALLY nice buck respond to the scent. The does snorted and moved around the area, and the buck followed it right in until he for some reason decided to head across the line to the south about 45 yards off. Maybe tomorrow! He sat this morning for the entire major, seeing one fawn.

Last night I had a doe prancing around a clearing trying to figure me out. Then we both heard something approching so she forgot about me. We both anticipated the "huge buck" that was comming. When he finaly stepped into view, the buck was wearing a white baseball cap. It was my dad trying to run some deer my way. Tonite was very windy. I think they stayed down until after it calmed (way after dark). The moon came up huge and almost made me stay in the woods, it was so bright. I saw zip! The am should be hot, finally the temps will drop to the low 20's. Tuesday I was on the lake with 78 degrees, go figure.

Talked to my brother who lives on the west side of the state near The Mississippi River. He saw 4 does that he described as sneaking out of bedding areas. Apparently the bucks are horny but the does aren't ready. He saw 8 bucks in 2 day, all between 9 and 2. Only 1 was a shooter, but none came close enough. He said they all looked like they were late for an appointment somewhere, moving through the woods with some business in mind.
I'm gonna hunt Wed thru Fri, and will sit all day, every day.

Beaver, I don't know how you can do it. I know that all day is the absolute best, especially when they are running does. The most I can manage is 3 or 3 1/2 hours. I'm either bored or freezing. Tonite I didn't have to be on stand for even 15 minutes and I was back in for dinner then blood trailing

not my call Lobi, hoping for it, but I know we have lots of ground to cover before we can get there. Maybe next summer? I am not the one to ask about that really.
