I'm done for the year almost wrecked my truck and boat at launch today. Couple of inches of snow over night screwed me. Looking to buy 14' row boat for next year for launches like the 1 i was at today

Drove past Pelican Lake in Oneida County yesterday afternoon and the lake is open, with the exception of ice around the edges. But, launches could be a real problem. Did not drive by a landing.

With the lakes locked, does this mean winternet season is open?

Tonka is mostly froze up. However, I got a good look at Crystal, Smiths, and Browns bay which were completely open. Good luck if you want to try getting out.
