| River maps are a little tough to get most anywhere. The bottom contours can change regularily depending on the runoff and seasonal flow changes. Check with your state Department Of Natural Resources they may have something.
If they are no help, get a good Quadrangle map or plat book and make copies of sections of the river at a larger scale, and make your own map. The best way is to not fish for a day and just use your trolling motor and sonar to take the time to really do a good job of watching and writing. If you fish you tend not to do as well with your notes or your attention to detail. Keep the fishing equipment out of the boat for atleast a good part of the day while you are making the map. Make notes of shore structure as well.
Good luck. |

| Dude, rent a chopper + take along a Kodak Instamatic....sounds primitive BUT.....you can also spot deer hideouts to use later on + a neat way to drop in on friends....just don't get too close to the clotheslines! looks like the cold is trying to settle in....soon it will be Christmas day! Let me know when mikie comes down for smallies...I'll come up if possible....[:sun:] |

| If you find a number of Payday candy bar wrappers floating downstream to you, find another river. Sponge Bob has already "fished out" the river and is congratulating himself
by binge eating his favorite candy bar! |
