Subject: Reels

I am looking to get a new muskie reel for this year. Nothing to over priced or anything. I looked at Okuma reels and the new st. croix avid reel. If anyone could give me any info on these reels or any other reel that would be good, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
kevin

The St Croix is made by Daiwa and should be pretty good. I like the Penn International 965 and the Shimano Calcutta 400 in the same price range as the St Croix. I am not familar with the Okuma stuff. I think in that price range maybe a Garcia 6500 c3..well thats if the Okuma's are under $100.
