Posts: 6 | Hello, been a lurker here (Im severely introverted) for awhile but I finally decided to join. The information I've gathered from this site has enabled me to land 12 Muskie in 3 weeks, 4 of them in one night! Im from WV and this has been my first year targeting Muskellunge specifically (from shore saving for a boat). Anyways, I keep hearing about this super awesome glide bait called the, "Muskie Magnet". I've been searching for days and have found inline spinnerbaits with the name, as well as cranks made by Kermit Good, but no glide baits. Are these glide baits no longer made? Super top secret? Or is it just a nickname for another glide bait? At this point I've just about exhausted my resources, so can anyone point me in the right direction to find the golden fleece of glide baits?

Posts: 1348 Location: Pewaukee, WI | While being trolled, this bait was responsible for catching a record Musky in Michigan around 10 yrs ago. They are no longer being made. There is one for sale on e-bay for $24.99 if you're interested.

Posts: 6 | Thanks for the information regarding the Muskie Magnet. I saw the one listed on ebay. I just wasn't sure, until today, that was the real deal. To be honest it doesn't look too impressive and I'm not fond of the color; nevertheless, I'm thinking about picking it up. It's sad they are no longer made, from what I've been told, they were a really productive bait. Since they are no longer in production, I wonder if there is a glide/jerk bait that looks like and/or has similar action to the Muskie Magnet?

Posts: 962 | The Michigan record fish was caught on a Musky Magnet Crankbait made by Kermit Good. The Musky Magnet cranks are very good baits. Never used the Glider by same name Jeff Hanson madisonmuskyguide.com
