Location: Ontario | It will probably sound as insane idea to some, but considering using CNC and route additional groove in the new style Terrova shaft
to run transducer cable.
Any ideas?
Did anyone took a part the lift assist before to get the shaft out?
Thanks |

Location: MN | I've done it on my Terrova but it was the older one with the groove. Works slick. But yea not sure why the eliminated the groove |

| My concern would be you would weaken the shaft. I'm positive any warranty regarding breaking the shaft would go out the window the minute you cut it. |

There is still groove on the v2 but used for the power assist spring. |

No doubt that the warranty would be gone but 1/4" or even less U shape groove shouldn't weaken it that much |

Location: Northern Illinois | I run SI/DI transducer cable up my Terrova using Cable Guard by Precision Sonar. I've used this for 3 years now and I like how it manages the cable.

Yeah, seen that before, good to know that it works without issues.
