| Hey guys my grandpa, dad, and I are heading up to wabigoon for a week of musky fishing July 13-20. I was just curious if anyone had any info they'd like to share with us! Baits, locations, areas to try/avoid, anything and everything would be appreciated. We will be staying at bonny bay camp as well. Thanks in advance, been counting down the days for a couple months now! |

Location: The desert | Find cabbage find fish. Blades, blades, blades, and maybe a topwater or two. Spinner baits will work through the thicker weeds. Work over areas very well. Lots of fish are caught by casting the same spot 10 times, the 11th time out they come.
Buy some chocolate milk and get used to looking into it trying to see a fish ahead of time so you’re prepared when you get up there. |

Just see Len and he will mark you a few spots to get you going.

| Cast tight to the shore, cabbage, and especially to any rocks and weeds together. Fish are hard to see, especially if there's a chop on the water, so figure 8 often and longer than normal. |
