Woman...They are impossible to figure out and when you think you got them dialed in....they turn off like a light switch.

LOL

I think we need some humor on site today...

So true, but me and MuskyFever agreed some time ago that is much more disturbing losing a fish than a woman. LOL. Hope my ex-girl doesn't read this board.

Muskies are alot like houses...they keep sucking money out of you! Everytime you think you have enough for the house/musky fishing, another season rolls along with stuff you "MUST" have.

Muskies are like drugs. Before you know it, your life is consumed with it and everything about it. Although I have never seen a musky whore, I think it's just a term we have not used yet.

ToddM,

I have seen several musky whores. Two this summer in Wisconsin, and one in Canada.

They are out there, you just have to be in the right place at the right time. I also might add that musky whores are usually NASTY!

...like a pair of dirty underpants.  Sometimes it takes quite a while to get them, sometimes only a few minutes....but as soon as you handle them, you realize they really stink and quickly throw them away.  Some are green, some brown, some even striped or spotted, but each very unique and different from the rest.

like a.. un-curable disease.

No known cure.
Needs lots of treatment (time on the water)
Takes over all your conversation.
Keeps you awake at night.
Friends and relatives get tired of hearing about it.
More expensive than hospital stays.
Always some new miracle device to help make it better.
New device works for only a very short time.
When you think you have it licked it kicks you in the arse again.
Hypnotism, herbs, and accupuncture will not help.
Not sure if death will end the affliction.

A big muskie is like a big whitetail buck. Many similarities in terms of seasonal patterns and the big ones are elusive.

I like the women theories, but then again guy's I think they are ALOT different. I like my muskies big, fat and ugly! Do I dare ask how you like your women?? LOL, I couldn't resist.
