Posts: 7039 Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | We had a nice-ish weekend out here in IL land and I managed to get out for about 8 hours combining Saturday and Sunday. Results: one flash of a tail follow, one torn up baby shadzilla and I did catch about a 15lb tire (on a jig!!!) Who else is fishing and how did you do?

Posts: 32886 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Ice is going out here now, a few days and the lakes should be opening up. May be a while before the docks get put in.

Posts: 386 | Had a good time up on the Rainy River fishing sturgeon Thursday and Friday. First day we tore into them pretty good with 13 fish over 50" but Friday kicked our butts. Still, nice to be on open water again.

Posts: 252 | Had one follow in on Easter, switched up lures and caught her three casts later. I was standing in two feet of water and she came in shallow.

Posts: 613 Location: Michigan | Michigan has had open water since the beginning of April so I've been out a handful of times since then. Moved some fish on small gliders (phantoms, muskie treats, hellhounds), small twitchbaits, and small bucktails. Nothing in the net for me, but some other guys in the area are doing pretty well already.

Location: Athens, Ohio | I popped a 28 incher today in the same cove where a bass guy old me he'd just released a 36 that he got on a twister tail jig. I tried not to throw up in the back of my mouth at that. m
