| I am planning on getting a new trolling motor to replace my power drive and at the same time replace the bow mounted depth finder.
I am seeing that Minn Kota offers a built in Mega DI transducer on some of their motors and thought about getting a Helix 7 with Mega DI. But, I am not finding much of anything about how well that works, whether it is worth the money, etc. Lots of reviews, etc. on SI but not much on Mega DI. Anyone able to help? |

| depends on if your looking down or too the side. I think it is pretty cool and I hope it is worth the money cause I just bought one of each motor and new Helix |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | The DI Mega Imaging is WAY better than what was offered in the past. Detail is almost photographic. I have an SI Mega and a DI Mega on the way.

My thought was that if it close to being what it is billed as, it would be helpful for crappie fishing, walleye fishing where they hold tight to smaller structures, boulders etc. I have a gen 3 Lowrance side imaging by the tiller.

| Best deal going for the trolling motor in my opinion. Save the SI for the console or the tiller handle. |

Location: deephaven mn | Great tool to have, it can help you by adding more clarity or a different image than your traditional sonar.
you want to split screen and run them both simultaneously to see and appreciate what DI offers. It can help with all types of bottom structure and fish ID as well |
