Posts: 925 | I have not fished nearly as much this year as I would've like to. Most of my time has been spent in tournaments, and we all know that isn't exactly quality time on the water. I only have 3 in the boat. 46.5, 43, 37. Not bad though considering the average is 42.17.

Posts: 202 Location: Angola, IN | 29 Fish for me. It's been a pretty good year. In July, I caught my biggest musky ever. (First Picture) In August, beat my personal best with a nice musky that hit a Jackpot on LOTW. (Second Picture). Then in September, my rod went off and this beast of a PIG was on the other end (Last Picture). Posts: 239 Location: Madison, WI | Having a good year myself. With the fall season finally here I should be able to log a few more before ice up. 27 fish in the boat. 3 over 40" with the biggest topping out at 44". My annual trip to LOTW produced a good number of fish (13) with the largest going 41". I tangled with a couple hogs up there, maybe next year..... Good luck to all!!

Posts: 688 Location: Northern IL | This year will be no where close to the 236 muskies over 30" of 2002. I've been working full time at my cedar siding business and also building a new home so time on the water has been limited to rain days and when ever I can sneak one in. However today I was able to get out and we landed 3 with a 44" and a 45" also a 26" walleye. My 13 year old landed a 48" and a 46" in mid Aug. Every year is a great year when you're a spoonplugger! Posts: 484 Location: St. Louis, MO., Marco Is., FL, Nestor Falls, ON | Over 60 this year, with the biggest 51". The vast majority of those fish were caught on a small bucktail (Buchertail 500) with a chartreuse, orange and black blade. All were caught either in LOTW or Crow. It was a very good year for me. Best day was five over 40". The low water seemed to help me this year, but cost me 3 skegs. Pretty good trade off in my opinion. Stopped fishing muskies on Sept. 1st and really didn't fish much for muskies after the end of July. My wife came up and then some walleye fishing buddies. Sooooooo, most were caught prior to July 19th. Have to raise my goals for next year. Need a 54" and a total of over 70. Plan to fish till the end of Sept. next year, maybe even into Oct. I'm already missing the fishing. I'll start with the salt water at the end of Dec. Somehow sheepshead, grouper, snapper, snook, etc. just aren't the same as muskies. Not complaining, just stating a fact. Hope everyone has a good year in 2004. Edited by rpieske 10/4/2003 8:46 PM Attachments ---------------- muskie35lb03em.jpg (31KB - 117 downloads)
