  | My niece wants to get a Christmas gift for my brother and I'm not familiar with bucktail making tools. Is there a better choice between the Boggs pro tackle maker, and the Du-Bro bucktail twister?

Thanks,

  | I have a dubro, it works well and is very inexpensive, I bent part of it because I didn't know what I was doing at first. But even after that little bend it still works. And I don't use a vise just my hands. So it goes with on trips in my leader box. |

  | I have boggs. All I use it for is making steel leaders now. I have a pair of knipex round nose plairs. I like the plairs better because I can make the loop any size and they help for rewiring baits with bends in the wire. |
