Posts: 8782 | Does seem to be a trend. Of course the average age of a muskie angler seems to hover around 50, so I guess it's not surprising.

Posts: 95 Location: MN | BretRobert1 - 12/4/2018 2:48 PM I say start it now. Can kick it off with any of the following: 1.) What is considered a good week of fishing on LOTW? 2.) What is the true world record musky? 3.) Is the Garmin Panoptix a game changer on the BOW you fish? 4.) What will beer prices be at the Chicago show? 5.) Who has the best Youtube musky channel? Wait a sec. You guys can buy beers at the Chicago expo? Whoa.

Posts: 1220 | I honestly never wondered why native Americans would do stuff to show their resentment over a really well documented history of mistreatment. What I’ve always wondered (really) is why Wisconsin government officials wouldn’t have made a useful trade with them to leave fisheries alone in return for something they wanted. If it were me and they wanted 15 more casinos in return for leaving the fish and wildlife alone, I’d just let them build the casinos. I really see even having to talk (seriously or not) about this stuff as serious malpractice by state government. Were the Indians screwed, yes they were! So, make it right and get on with some possibilities for a decent shore lunch.

Posts: 8782 | I certainly understand the resentment. What escapes me is the failure to move past it. Every country has it's own history of genocide, war, genocide, mistreatment of minorities, etc. Spearing fish you don't even need or even want out of spite? Who are you punishing? Me? My ancestors fled their home countries 50 years after this all happened. Everyone involved is long dead. What would people say if we all decided to boycott or protest outside of Japanese restaurants because of Pearl Harbor?
