Posts: 32886 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | The field of the top 40 Professional Muskie Tournament Trail anglers took off in the dark this morning for the final day of the 2018 season. The Indiana morning broke cold and partly cloudy, with skies clearing throughout the day. Usually there are a lot fewer fish landed on day 2, and with severe front coming through yesterday numbers would tend to be much lower, but maybe a few key fish will jumble the leader board. Stay tuned to MuskieFirst for reports from the field and videos/photos of the awards ceremony this evening. J.Sloan Scroll down for final results.... Posts: 32886 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Berman and Quintano bested the field at the PMTT Championship to take home the first place trophy, a good check, and a Ranger Boat. It took 10 fish to do it, but fishing deep deep did the trick. A lot of fish were caught shallow, too, but the St. Claire guides opted to go with big soft-plastics and got it done. Riebe and Snyder were also able to take home the coveted Team of the Year award for the second year in a row. An impressive number of fish were caught today under post frontal conditions and gives testament to the large per-acre count of muskies in this area. Another great year goes in the books for the PMTT, looking forward to next year!
