Fished Big Arb on Thursday, boated three fish with the biggest being upper 30's. Two of the three fish came on a green TM Tail the other on a Slippery Sam Jr. All hot colors with the lake looking like it's starting to turn, very poor water visibility. Not a single follow on Jerks or cranks, only small bucktails with hot colors. My partner blanked but had a few follows also on small bucktails.

Derek, good to hear. COngrats on the fish.

We boated 6, one was 35" and the rest were dinks. Had a couple rips and 3 fish shook off before we could see them.

So far, I have continued my success on Silver. I popped a 17"er on a suick last night. I am heading out to a small lake with tigers in it shortly to do some row trolling. I will report when I return. Nice fish guys!

Did well last week tues wed and thurs with 9 fish in the boat(most on top and shallow). Temps were 61 on tues and 57.5 on Thurs for us.  My buddy Don did well yesterday catching 5 fish on the eagle chain with a 44.5" and 46.5" to win the club outing he was in.  He moved all fish on a topwater, but they hit something else.

Fished Pelican Friday for a few hours, got one on a Suick, moved another.  We accidently cut nwild off on a drift, and stopped and talked for a few. He moved two fish also, so it was slow out there.Crescent the next day until 4PM, moved a few with one weak taker on a weighted Suick. I should have been on dark water, but thought that with the front, the big girls on Crescent would go.  As my friend SVL says--0fer!

I did have a GREAT time with the folks I took out on the water as an Ashton Fund day. Sue and I made two new friends!! Thanks again for the great time on the water, and see you in Hayward. Kim and Cindy fish harder than anyone I know. Cindy is due for a 50, for sure. Those three Bloody Mary's and the ten bucks are a lock.

That fish will get her eyes CROSSED!

Weekend report part 2. I went out yesterday on a little 25 acre lake to do some row trolling with the woman. We got 6 northerns up to 31"s, then decided to cast. The fish were definitely up shallow. We moved 3 fish and Christine got her 2nd legal of the year. A nice 36" spotted 'ski. The lake supposedly only has tigers. Imagine that. I will post a pic when I get them back. Hopefully this one turns out.
Good lungen,

Slow. I fished Pelican Friday and Saturday. Had two half interested takers Friday, one on a Jerko, the other on meat. Lost them both. Had about a 25#er chasing my sucker all around the boat on Saturday, but it never ate it. Thought conditions were near perfect for the weekend but the fish just didn't cooperate.

Fished the Ciso Chain on Saturday and Sunday....nothing Saturday, 2 on Sunday (Big Lake). Both fish were very very shallow (Less than 5 feet) and in the timber and weeds. First fish (35") was on a black Hog Wobbler the second (32") was on a Buchertail w/ Mogumbo tail.

Water temps have come down by about 5ยบ since monday! TurnOver is happening and probally will extend into this weekend.

Walleye fishing is really beginning to pick up as well...Limited out on Saturday and Sunday nights.

Fished the home waters this week and weekend off and on.

Got a 44" on Tuesday and 47" fatty on Sunday.

Life is good when the muskie god smiles on you every once in a while.

I fished Kashagawigamog Lake up in Haliburton Ontario this weekend. we did alright I geuss but nothing real big. 5 Muskies that were 43,40,39,36,34 one came trolling a spinnerbait along a break line. the other 4 fish came out of neck down areas, 2 on Spinnerbaits 2 on TopRaiders. My partner lost a fish around 4 feet off a rock wall too but that was about it for nice fish, saw a few others. I think they are getting snow up there tonight. Here comes Fall!
