I know you can upgrade alot of reels with power handles from other reels, just wondering if there is a bigger power handle that will fit the lexa 400 than the one that comes with it.

The Lexa 400 has the Longest Handles that come on any Reel,
Both the Double Paddle and Power Handle.

Hmmm, i bought the model that has a 7 to 1 retrieve. I like it, pulls 8's ok but has some drag, 9's i csn still do but 10's are not fun and 10 heavy blades even less so. Just need a bigger handle to make them work.

How long is the center to center on the daiwa handle?
I found a power handle on ebay for my tranx, with 80mm, can't find the link sadly

Just keep the thumb bar down during cast, no worries then, on any reels.

Works on some Baits and short casts, but on Plastic I’m home run casting and you have to stop the spool with your thumb to Straighten out the Dawg before it hits the water.

Agreed, but you can do both, and it becomes second nature fast.

The Saltist 30 will fit
They make a 40 and 50
Not sure if they are longer and have the same hole to mount

I have aftermarket handles on my diawa line counters. They hare about 1/2 longer than the handle on the lexa. Put it on going to try it. Wow do you have to crank that nut to get it to line up to lock down, either handle. The shaft is too long for the custom handle lock down had to use the lexa nut.

Sometimes you will need a washer under the handle so the Nut don’t bottom out. Also use a drop of Blue Lock tight on the Nut and screw.

That aftermarket power handle did the trick. It is very light so no engagement issues. I can now reel cowgirls with no issues with my 7.1 diawa lexa. It's not the 500hg with the trick handle but I am in for less than half the price.

Here is it. I bought this one off ebay. I used the nut and lock from the old handle and the screw from this handle since it was different size. I see some like this one that used a similar nut and lock as you see here.

The photo is a little deceptive the knob is actually smaller than the stock lexa power handle. It is about 1/2" longer.
