Hey,

there are some interesting big baits out there, like the 16" line thru trout or the upcoming 19" inch line thru pike.

In Europe, we have nothing for these baits, are there rods in the Us that are not overloaded with these 30 oz. baits ?

Best regards from Germany

For those 16 inch trouts i use the xxxh tackle industries, cast like a dream and the customer servise from ti is great even if you live in europe. You can get them from franglais fishing

The only other rod i have seen available for these lures in the european market is the zenaq glanz b80-25x, a japanese big swimbait rod for bass

I imagine shipping to Europe could get a bit pricey...

I think Tackle Industries has supplied Europe with some rods. I can't imagine casting 30 oz baits for any length of time, but if you went with a Tackle Industries rod I do think the XXXH would be the way to go.

I had a TI xxh for a while and think 30 oz would be quite a bit too much for that blank.

Your Tackle Industries XXXH rod will cast every bit of 30oz and I believe James has made his rods available in the European market too.

Heck, I feel like 40oz is within the rod's capability.

The TI xxxh i most likely your best bet, Franglais once had some MI Mark lejewski monster magnum limited rods, but they are not available any more even though it is a really sweet big bait rod, that does cast the 2lbers and largest line through trout quite well.
