Posts: 61 Location: Cottage Grove, WI | I want to fulfill a bucket list request and if money wasn't an object would you go to Eagle lake for a week of guided Musky Fishing or Lake of the Woods. If it was your choice what lake/camp would you go to.

Posts: 176 | If money wasn't an object I'd be taking far more than a week and I'd take in a lot of Muskie experiences. My "Time on the Water", wouldn't be a far more elaborate version than the original, but would be inspired by it. The old timers will know of which I speak. 1. AML with the Herbecks, Steve and Danny and the balance of the staff, all are great 2. LOTW NW angle not sure what resort 3. Rowan not sure what resort 4. Lac Seul I like the house boat idea 5. St. Clair with Matt Firestein Whopper Stopper 6. Wabigon, just from the old legends standpoint, I think there is history here. 7. Green Bay in the fall 8. The St. Lawrance, have no clue where, but again there is history The list would continue Nomad, Any place anytime for a Musky!

Posts: 92 | Have been out of fishing for 15 years. Starting to dip my toe back in the water. Fished Ontario muskies in the late '90s to early 2000s. Did Eagle as well as LOTW. Minaki too. Admittedly Eagle was stingy with me. Did see a 54" 45 lb fish that a guy kept and brought back to the lodge. Fished out of Morson a couple times but the North end of LOTW became our preferred spot to go. We never put big numbers in the boat for the week but we managed our share between 48-52.5". Eagle is cool but to me LOTW is just an amazing place. Very special. That said I have always wanted to try Wabigoon.
